My Time at a Candy Tour

Yesterday, I went to a candy factory and while I was there, I went to a candy tour.  They made chocolate toes and they made chocolate trees!  At the factory, they use 6000 pounds of chocolate a day.  During the tour, I got to try a "Camelback," which is like a "Turtle" chocolate but better and bigger.  I also got to try a "mallowscotch." It was a carmel with marshmallows kind of inside.  I also made "bacon and eggs" with pretzels, white chocolate, and yellow smarties.  After the tour, my mom bought some candy!  My favourite was the cranberry crunch.  It was a pink chocolate with cranberries and almonds.  We went to the candy factory because my mom loves candy!  It was my favourite part of my trip so far.

My trip to the Grand Canyon

I went to the Grand Canyon.  At the Grand Canyon, I went on a walkway, kind of down into the canyon.  I looked over the edge.  It was so cool.  After that, I saw a movie about it.  I learned that there are lots of layers of rocks.  Did you know that there is a hotel at the bottom of the canyon?  You can only get down there by hiking or with a mule.  Some people also raft on the river in the canyon.  It is called the Colorado River.

My Flight to Phoenix

Today I took an airplane to Phoenix.  I had to wake up at 4 in the morning.  My first flight was going to the Twin Cities, which are Minneapolis and Saint Paul.  It was a short flight.  My second flight was going to Phoenix!  It was a long flight.

First, when I got to Phoenix, I had to go out of the airport.  Second, I checked out my condo.  Third, I went swimming in the pool.  Fourth, I went to Target.  Then, we went for supper at In-N-Out Burger.  I loved the burgers there.  They only had burgers and fries on the menu.  They made their fries by putting the potatoes in a machine.  They pulled a thing down and it came out as fries.  I saw them do it.  We all shared a milkshake for dessert.

When I got back, I was still hungry, so I had a bowl of mini-wheats.
